VINCE SUNTER (click for CV)
Director of Engineering & Projects
(Founding Partner)
Vince’s career started with a BE (Mech) traineeship at BHP’s Pt Kembla steelworks where he soon had control over major budget expenditure, ran large teams with a substantial R&D program. He then built an insulation factory in Malaysia, before UGL enticed him to his current home in Newcastle where he led the United Goninan engineering team to make the world leading 2800 class loco for QR.
He came to the coal mining industry in 1995 where, with Phil Caldwell (RiP Apr 2017), he soon formed Calsun Projects, which then provided many east coast coal mining design-construct and service provision projects.
Vince’s engineering / project mgt roles included Ravensworth Coal Terminal, a 60m radial stacker for Saraji Mine, a 4,000t/hr curved overland conveyor at Kenmare Mine, raw and product coal systems at Cumnock Mine, centrifuge upgrades at Bulga mine and the first large banana screens to come into the industry, also at Bulga.
In 2016, Vince was the project mgr for a rejects screen installation at a Bowen mine site, which was the first of a new generation screening technology. Vince now takes a reinvigorated team on a journey to deploy this technology (and derivatives) and help the industry reach game changing productivity goals. (click for Resumé)
DAVID LEE (click for CV)
Principal Process Engineer
Dave is an experienced chemist and process engineer with over 35 years of experience in coal testing, coal preparation and mineral processing.
There is a great story to tell about Dave. He has been in many leading technical management roles including leading the pioneering effort to move the coal preparation process to conversion from sieve bend + low-head screens to banana screens. There is a lot more to Dave's story, but for now will just say we are so glad to have him leading the team technically to roll out the next gen screening technology.

INDUSTRY LEADERS
Serious Horsepower
Some high achievers with deep industry experience who are keen to come on board and ensure the roll-out of this important technology is a total success for every site that implements it. But they are just a little shy about saying who they are, until they make the move...
We do what we say we will. Always.
