The project had been underway for 10 months on site and was facing major difficulties so Calsun’s Phil Caldwell was brought in to complete the construction and manage the interface through commissioning and on to operations. These works included the processing of the first 2M tonnes of ROM feed.

Key Benefits

• Project was facing prospect of at least substantial failure; this was rapidly reversed.
• Many external process failures that had previously gone undetected were actioned.
• Downer extremely pleased at the positive impact our involvement made.
